Amanda gave me this GREAT shirt, refill, paper and copic holder. I had ordered one from her, since her husband makes them and she TOLD me a fib about if not turning out and her DH was remaking it!lol I can't wait to alter it with some Basic Grey papers.

This sweet kitty card and goodies are from Michelle. She gave me the most perfect Hambo stamps and a gift certificate to PhotoScraps (which is on the MD Scrapbook Tour).

These are the party favors that we had at the bash, along with balloons and horns (which my kids all ran off with).

This box of delightful goodies is from Stacy. She made us wear boas. She also gave me some Bath and Body Works (which I love), brads in my birthstone color, scency bar and a Amuse gift certificate. Isn't she the sweet thing...or is she? Wait to you see the hat she made me wear!

Birthday Celebration the Meade Girls Way

Today we all met up at CiCi's to celebrate Amanda, Tracy, and Michelle's birthday. First off let me say I was trying to set this up behind the scenes since June at my house, but that fell thru....so Tracy decides to do CiCi's for Michelle, Well Amanda then emails to throw in Tracy, So of course I then email to throw in Amanda LOL so I am amazed any of us made it with all the emails hahahaha We did make it though and it was a blast!

Tracy made some adorable ribbon hats made out of ribbon and butterflies - These hats are too cute, by far the best hats yet.....until Kimme showed up with Tracy's hat LOL

Kimme's Birthday Lunch!!

Jazz Hands!!

Kimme proved to be quite a sport and rocked the tiara and her daughter's shades!!! I have to say though what is up with the tiara!!! Historically the hats have been not the most attractive and most flattering items to put on ones head (jester hats, paper plates with bows, etc.). Kimme got very lucky on her birthday!! I think Tracy is trying to throw us off before her birthday rolls around and maybe we will take it easy on her and Amanda!

We all met up at PhotoScraps for Kimme's Birthday to enjoy some shopping time before lunch! Kimme looked to be enjoying her time shopping

Tracy looking pretty bummed after realizing she could not fit the entire store in her van.....or she could be frustrated at us for trying to catch a picture of her bent over LOL I do not think she was as amused.

I am not sure what happened here other than I took a bad pic LOL OR maybe DawnMarie is impersonating a pirate - Shiver me Timbers!

After shopping we went to a nearby Chinese restaurant where I think service was sooo slow that we actually went back in time LOL However this gave one ample opportunity to take plenty of pics!
I dont think I can type where DawnMarie wanted to shove my camera at this point
I have no clue what I am doing here - all i can say half my face is covered so it is a fab pic!!

Baby Ashley came along to hang out....she was completely unfazed by the camera and us chatting.
I did manage to snag one pic of Amanda and I even got one with Tracy not sticking out her tongue!

Kimme got some fab presents including craft supplies and some smelly good items. She also made us some awesome notebook covers (yes it was her birthday). I need to load a pic of them because they are totally awesome!!! I cant figure out where she finds the time!!!

A Day Late and A Dollar Short...Ribbon Galore!

Okay, as always lately I'm running behind. Here is the ribbon I got on out outing after DH and youngest son helped wind ribbon from grag bags. Still have some to do, but way to tried to continue, so thought I would go ahead and post pics not showing the mess.lol

We had such a blast digging and finding the deals of the century. The hug spool with the kiwi Kiss and black edge was SUPER cheat for a whole 532 yards of fabulous rolling in ribbon fun! So if you would like to buy some let me know, I'm always willing to share.

I have come to the realization that I MAY have a problem. After seeing how controled Dawnmarie and Jane were shopping...I must need therapy or not. I can always count on Amanda making me look a little bit more normal.lol Like I told my DH how could I pass up a $1.00 deal.he he he

Better run for now need to clean the house for the Pampered Chef get together tomorrow evening. So come on over!

FROG BIRTHDAY CARD

Yesterday, I finished up this frog card for one of my nephews that is turning two this month. I got this stamp over six years ago at a convention and have never used it. Back then it made me giggle when I saw it and that is why I bought it, so when I came across it the other day I knew that was the prefect stamp to use for a two year old. Hopefully, it makes him giggle like it makes me. Thanks for taking a look at my froggy creation. Hope it made you smile!

I'm squealing with delight! I received a couple of flat rate boxes today filled with lots of goodies(unseen prior to purchased) that I bought for a REALLY cheap price. One of my wonderful friends Jody, worked her magic and we got tons cheap, cheap, cheap. There was about 100 sheets of Basic Grey papers, 210 yards of Amuse ribbon, several MFT sets and other clear stamps, lots of Amuse stamps, Spica pens, embossing powders, mono refills and more...I can't wait to share with my local buddies!

Ok ladies, this is my first time posting anything besides a comment so I hope it comes out ok!

I am a Senior Angel and for those of you who are not familiar with the organization, you sign up to be an angel to an elderly person and send cards and goodies to them on a weekly basis. I've been sending to a very sweet lady in Omaha, NE for almost a year now and enjoy it immensely. There is a similar group called ChemoAngels where you send cards and gifts to people undergoing cancer treatment. Anyway, here's the card I made today to send to my senior Ms. Ruth this week!

Hello Ladies,

I just wanted to send out a mission statement to all of you today. I'm really over all of this drama I don't want anything to do with any of it anymore. So from this day on I'm not talking to anyone about this issue I'm not talking about anyone, or anything that has anything to do with the group. I really think it's effecting my health. So if any of you need to call to chat/vent about anything other than this PLEASE CALL I love all of you and enjoy your company. I really hope we can all just leave it be and have fun doing what we are all really good at making and creating cards. I'll see several of you tonight. Okay, I'm sure you all are wondering what I ordered with my MTF gift certificate, so I thought I would share the card I finished today using the Snow Bunny Flopsey set.

I got the stamp sets yesterday, so I cleaned off my stamproom tables, so I could stamp the day away. So far this is my first attempt using this set. I liked is so much that I went ahead and made three. Now, I think I will pull out another sketch and try something else with it.

Christmas Day Stamping

The top project that I completed is an altered microwave popcorn cover and a matching 3x3 card to go with it. I figure I could send it to my DSS with New Year wishes.

The card is a quick simple card that I used a SU! Scrappin' Kit to complete. There is no stamping on this card, but I wanted to be able to finish a card in time to mail out tomorrow for my new DSS sister. Hopefully she will enjoy it.

Well, I better get back to stamping, I need to work on some Christmas cards for the scs challenge I signed up for, plus I need to make a birthday present for a friend back in El Paso. Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas!

My dad just emailed me these pictures that he had taken while I was in Florida and thought I would share them with you all. The pictures were taken at OutBack, where we all met up for dinner on Friday, November 14th.

The top picture is of my Uncle John(on the left) and my Dad. It was really nice to visit with my uncle and hear all his stories about the kids(he had 12) and grand kids(presently has 18 and counting), since I haven't seen him for probably 30 years.

The bottom picture is of my Mom(on the left) and me. I'm assuming by the look on my mom's face I just said something fresh!lol Hey, what can I say? If I say fresh things to you, feel loved...I do it to my loved ones all the time. There is now photo proof, that I spread love everywhere I go!he he

Morning All!

I have been in a real funk and avoiding people. Thrilled to say I'm out of my funk and back out in the real world.

Sunday, I attended a copic class at Create It Stamps (111-A Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD) an awesome stamp store with such a wonderful friendly owner and workers. It's always so much fun to go in Kim's store and see what's new. They are getting ready to move to a new location, so they have lots of goodies on special. You all should go check her out, be sure to let her know the Meade girls sent you over. At the copic class we received an adorable fall stamp, a techinque book, copic color list and supplies to make a card and images to practice on. All and all lots of fun goodies to walk away with. If you missed the class don't worry, you can learn most of the techinqes on some scsers blogs.

I took batteries out of the tv remote so I could take a picture of my finish copic class card. Of course in true Tracy fashion, I used their images and paper and went hog wild at home with adding paper, paper piercing and embellishments to finish my card. Hope you all like it!

This is the card I came up with so far for the Nov SBS. Not real happy with this card, it's walking the line of fugly.

Hoping today I will be able to stamp and come up with something better for the swap, while I have the house to myself.

DH and three of the kids are at the homeless shelter serving food. Dh just called to let me know our youngest is the donut captian since he was the only one who wanted to be in charge of giving them out.lol Hoping this experience will make these kids think life is rough and they need to work hard in order to get ahead and have the things they are wanting.

Well better get back to stamping before everyone starts coming home. Hope everyone is having a fab Sunday!
